Pros
Training opportunities and really lovely, hardworking colleagues.
Cons
Management lies about pay right off the bat. Extremely high turnover for really difficult work with high burnout potential, upper management doesn’t seem to care about burnout or their turnover problem. Promises high level of training, does not deliver. Elitist point of view with high shaming culture of those who burnout, even though clinic policies reinforce burnout behaviors. Takes advantage of clinician’s desire to do right by their clients and pushes clincian’s limits until they leave. No paid time off. Very little sick leave. No parental leave. Productivity system. Have to get coverage of shifts like in food service, and there is little back up besides colleagues who are super overloaded themselves. Clinicians do most of admin work and case management with very little external support from clinic.
