Pros
Pay is ok and Hybrid working is good. They have a 9 day fortnight although its sometimes used as a weapon to keep you as a compliant resource.
Cons
PBS in Aberdeen is a toxic working environment with misogyny and nepotism rife amongst the senior management. Friends are actively recruited and the favourites are promoted. It's one rule for them and everyone else must comply and obey without question. Things have got progressively worse over the last year or so, Just read the other reviews of PBS in Aberdeen (not to be confused with the parent company of Ponticelli), we can't all be wrong. Don't be fooled by the propaganda on social media about inclusivity and shallow local sponsorships - remember that those who shout the loudest are probably the ones you shouldn't be listening to! If that isn't enough, Check out the number of job advertisements they post on a weekly basis. They only have one contract so poor staff retention in combination with shoestring resource management is a symptom of the empire building dictatorship that is PBS. I wouldn't be surprised if some positive reviews follow after this one is posted as the senior management try to do damage limitation in light of the ever growing number of frustrated employees starting to voice their concerns.
