Pros
The clients, agencies, and brands are top notch. The advertising technologies you will get to work with are innovative. Staff members truly give their all. It is truly a hard working team environment. There is great opportunity to take on new responsibilities and roles, and expand your knowledge base significantly. You will truly discover what your limits are, and push past them. If you can succeed in your role at Pointroll, you can absolutely succeed at any other company or role you may choose to take on. It will improve your resume and skills, but will not foster a sense of loyalty or desire to grow a long term career with them.
Cons
There are completely outrageous expectations for hours you will work, and the workload you will take on will be limitless. You will be pushed beyond what is reasonable, to the point of not being able to truly do your job as it should be. You will find yourself unable to meet client needs, not for lack of desire, work ethic or talent, but because you simply can not provide the level of service needed to so many clients at once. PointRoll has developed a well known reputation for being grossly understaffed and underpaid. Upper management is not transparent or trustworthy. Multiple turnovers have not gotten through to management as a sign that the company needs to change on a fundamental level.
