Pros
With the recent merger of Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care birthing Point32Health there is a sense of exciting possibilities alongside normal merger fears like job loss or migration. Overall though this is a great company to work for with very employee focused managers, in my experience, and support from higher ups. It seems like the company is working hard to create excellent products for their Members.
Cons
There have been minor missteps along the way, only speaking from my personal experience, when two massive companies merge such as lack of cross department communication or "late to the party" information to the different layers of the department.
