Pros

Not the good place to work, the Manager is mean and never give chance to good hard working employees chance to show their ability.

Cons

It is family member based company, No chance to grow and extend your career. Supervisor can take any day off, but employee takes day off without letting his employee knows, they monitor everybody even 10 minutes break to use restroom, they still ask where you go? NO TRUST. they asked some employee to make sure to provide good feed back in glassdoor.

We are sorry to hear you felt this way as a former employee. The tenure listed was more than 3 years, so we thank you for your dedication to POR. We take all the comments of our employees seriously as evidenced by our responses on this platform and our internal engagement surveys. We encourage you to reach out to your Manager, Director, and/or HR. HR handles issues such as discord in the workplace. Hope you are doing well in your career.

Pros

Exceptional place to work. The company culture is very positive and people have your back. It's really shown in how many "Boomerang" employees there are, people who have left the company and come back. They are very good to their employees. They pay for the whole company to come together twice a year, and are really supportive and flexible when it comes to life circumstances. I know my boss has my back not just in my work, but in my life as a whole. I feel very supported here. I've built my entire career here coming in at the lowest level and moving up over the years.

Cons

The company has grown a lot, and continues to. It can be hard to maintain a culture that way, although they do everything they can to. Also being software, it can be challenging to keep up with all the newness coming out.

Pros

POR is hands down the best company I’ve worked for, primarily because of its outstanding culture. From day one, it’s clear that the company genuinely cares about its employees. That support shows up in meaningful ways, whether through recognition, promotions, raises, or the effort put into hosting on-site events that bring teams together and reinforce how much employees are valued. The people here truly set POR apart. Everyone is incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. There’s a strong sense of collaboration, and teammates genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and helping each other grow. It creates an environment where you feel supported, encouraged, and motivated to do your best work. Leadership is another standout aspect of POR. The leaders are not only smart and strategic, but also genuinely caring and invested in their teams. They lead by example, act as fantastic role models, and create an environment where employees feel supported, heard, and empowered to succeed. What I appreciate most is the opportunity for growth. POR has given me the space to challenge myself, continue learning, and advance in my career. It’s a place where you can really excel if you’re willing to put in the effort, and leadership supports that journey. Additionally, the company does a great job of keeping employees informed and connected to its mission. You don’t feel like just another employee, you feel like a valued part of the team and the company’s success. I’m genuinely grateful to be part of POR and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.

Cons

As with any software company, there are occasional challenges that come with the nature of the work. Because the product integrates with multiple systems and third party software, issues can arise unexpectedly. This can sometimes lead to fast paced, high pressure days when something breaks or a dependency causes disruptions.
