Pros
Working at Point Pi as an Engineering Manager has been one of the most rewarding phases of my career. The company has a wonderful US-influenced work culture, flexible timings, a comfortable environment, and even small things like a fully stocked pantry that genuinely make day-to-day work enjoyable. What I appreciated the most was how the organization consistently valued and recognized effort. Timely increments, appreciation for good work, and a culture that encourages taking ownership really motivated me to continuously push myself. I had the chance to work very closely with our CTO, and that experience shaped me in more ways than I can express. He’s an exceptional leader and an even better human being. The guidance, trust, and mentorship I received from him played a major role in my growth. A lot of who I am today professionally comes from the learning and grooming I received during that time. Point Pi is a place where people, culture, and opportunity come together in the best way. I’m truly grateful for my journey there.
Cons
Fast-paced environment - Sometimes the pace of work could get intense, especially during important releases or deadlines. Wearing multiple hats - As with most fast-moving tech companies, you may have to take on responsibilities beyond your role. Like any growing company, Point Pi had areas that were still evolving especially around processes and cross-team communication. At times, the fast paced environment meant taking on multiple responsibilities, but it also helped me learn quickly and become more adaptable.
