The Podesta Group offers interns a fast-paced work environment and a lot of work to do. I felt like a valued employee and knew that I was essential to the team.

Like every internship, there was some administrative work, but I still felt important and valuable. Tasks were also slightly repetitive. For example, most interns spent the entire morning creating a media/news update for analysts.

You learn a LOT at Podesta, however it can be difficult at time to have any staff actually teach you anything. It is mostly learning by doing, so if you are looking for a brown bag program , this is not it.

The work is grueling, and its is hard to find coworkers who will take the time to teach you.
