Recently, a new leader joined the management team and the impact has been concerning. The individual has a history of driving companies toward losses and unfortunately seems to be repeating the same patterns here. Employee well-being and empathy appear to be low priorities, and several hires have been made from their previous organizations — including teams from ValueLabs, whose past track record on projects has been far from positive.
Instead of investing in real innovation, the company is heavily relying on ValueLabs’ rebranded tool (“Aide”), which is essentially Copilot with a different UI. Leadership is projecting that future development will happen almost entirely through this tool, which feels like more of a shortcut than a sustainable strategy.
This shift in approach, combined with questionable hiring practices, raises serious concerns about the direction of the company and its long-term health.
