A sinking ship: everyone is thinking about leaving - Anonymous employee Pivot Point Consulting Employee Review

Pros

The employees are generally friendly and helpful.

Cons

The company laid off 15% of its employees with no warning. The company spends money on lavish trips, such as trips to Las Vegas and Jamaica, while its employees are struggling to make ends meet. The company has a top-down management style, which can be frustrating for employees who have ideas or suggestions. They have horrible prospects for the rest of the year and many of us are scared of losing our jobs.

Pros

From the very first day, I have felt genuinely welcomed by the team and the company. Our work environment provides a unique sense of peace and balance, and I look forward to working every day. Our team is cohesive, and our collaboration is healthy and supportive. Additionally, leadership is highly communicative and approachable, proactively reaching out and checking in. This organization truly embodies what it means to be a Great Place to Work.

Cons

I have no negative information to provide.

Pros

From day one, the culture has felt genuinely welcoming, collaborative, and down-to-earth. The team is approachable and supportive, which makes onboarding and ramping up much smoother. Leadership is a standout. Rachel Marano brings a rare combination of business acumen, energy, and authenticity. What’s especially impressive is the level of conviction behind how she built the company—taking a real risk to launch and grow Pivot Point in a traditionally male-dominated Healthcare IT space. It really makes you feel like you’re in the right place. There’s a strong sense that you’re contributing to something meaningful, not just filling a role.

Cons

As with any growing company, some processes are still being built out, so flexibility is important.
