Pros
Making a life-saving product makes you feel good at the end of the day, every day. The health care benefits are the best I've ever had - since the company makes medical devices, they have paid 100% for various medical devices needed by my family (custom orthotics, etc.). Salary and bonuses are more than adequate, especially in today's market. Immediate management makes sure team members are adequately compensated, and the need for personal time and family life is recognized.
Cons
There is no clear organizational structure. The senior management seems to be out of touch with the many challenges faced daily by those doing the work. There are too many products to manage well. The processes are constantly changing and there is no way to find out what process you are expected to follow on any given day. You can spend a lot of time just trying to find out who is responsible for making a decision, only to find out that no one will take responsibility.
