Pros

The two positive things that come to mind are competitive salaries and 5 free vitamin products every month.

Cons

I found the Marketing department to be a hostile work environment with a fear-based culture. The Marketing leadership team is uninspiring and do not take an active interest in the development and well-being of their employees. A lot of the time it just felt like a sweatshop. The Brand leadership lack crucial skills and experience needed to set the strategic vision and ability to inspire and motivate the rest of the team. I also found them to have very questionable ethics. If you challenge them, they will not hesitate to intentionally and maliciously set you up to fail.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are disappointed to hear about your experience as it does not reflect the strong culture on our Marketing team, and at the company more broadly. Over the past few years our Marketing group has been rebuilt from the ground up with top talent and influential leaders from across Consumer Packaged Goods, health and wellness, and other related industries. It always takes time for emergent teams to settle, but our most recent company survey revealed that 88% of Marketing employees report their immediate manager is an effective leader and 100% report their immediate manager does a great job at managing the work. We are sorry you did not feel a part of this progress and wish you success in your future endeavors.

Pros

This is a solid, well-run company with a long history of strong performance. That shows up in consistent bonus payouts, disciplined financial management, strong innovation, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way. There is strong scientific backing behind our products and no questionable accounting or shortcuts. The culture is one of the biggest strengths. It’s people centered, non-hierarchical, and genuinely open. Leaders are accessible, including at the executive level. I don’t need layers of permission to have meaningful conversations, and performance and results are communicated transparently. There’s a strong sense of trust and accountability across teams. There are good growth opportunities for people who are thoughtful about their careers. Advancement is supported, and lateral moves are viewed positively as part of long-term development rather than a step backward. Work-life balance is respected, and flexibility is real, not just talked about. The supplement industry itself is a growth space, and the company is well positioned with solid innovation and strong customer relationships. Leadership at the executive level is strong, and what stands out is that leaders at all levels are willing to roll up their sleeves when needed. Overall, it’s a fun place to work, and after many years here, I can honestly say I still enjoy it and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

Cons

Like many established companies, there is a need for continued and increased investment in IT and systems modernization. Some processes and tools lag where they could be. You also need to be comfortable with ambiguity. Things don’t always come with perfect clarity or structure, and that can be challenging for some.
