Pros
Honestly, this is the best company I’ve ever worked for. They aren’t scummy and they don’t just chase a quick buck—they actually care about the work being done right and the people doing it. There have even been times when clients requested service, and instead of just taking their money for a service that may not work, I was able to explain cheaper DIY alternatives that would solve their issue and they can do themselves. That honesty is rare, and it says a lot about the company’s values. New employees get real training before being sent out on their own, and every tech knows how to treat specific insects. It’s not just a spray-and-go job—we rotate products, share knowledge, and take pride in making sure what we do actually works. Before this job, I thought pest control was kind of a scam, but now I see how beneficial it really is. I feel proud to be part of a company that helps people in such a real way. On top of that, the work environment is awesome. We laugh, brainstorm, and vent when needed, but most importantly we’re trusted to do our jobs and treated like actual human beings, not numbers. That respect and trust is huge, and it makes me genuinely love coming to work.
Cons
The only real downside is when people don’t hold themselves to the same high standards as the rest of us, which makes things harder for everyone else. And of course, the summer heat is brutal — being inside spares me most of it, but sweaty technician smells aren’t exactly a perk.
