Pros
Pays decent compared to other home health companies
Cons
I worked for Performance Home Health and unfortunately my experience was extremely negative. From the very beginning, the management was unprofessional and disorganized. There was little to no training provided, and employees were often left to figure things out on their own in highly sensitive care situations. When asked DON on first visit to shadow/watch--tablet was handed to nurse and attitude was of annoyance. The work environment was toxic, with unrealistic expectations and constant pressure. Despite putting in long hour and going above and beyond for patients, there was no recognition or support from management. Instead, they only focused on pointing out small mistakes without offering any constructive feedback. Ultimately, I was terminated at my 90 day review without any clear reason or warning, which only reinforced how unprofessional and disorganized this company is. I felt undervalued, disrespected, and misled throughout my time working there. I explained documentations was late due to personal child situation--this was held against me. I would strongly advise against working for Performance Home Health unless you're okay with being treated as just another disposable employee
