Pros
- Wonderful people work here. Truly. - Even as a 100% remote company, they dedicate time and resources to ensure their employees are happy when it comes to culture-related things. - The laidback atmosphere is a blessing and a curse.
Cons
- The lack of structure often causes confusing processes. - I was led to believe during the interview process that I would step into a developed team with established supervisors. Instead, I was the lone full-time person in my department and handled that department's needs mostly on my own. It caused great stress and was the eventual reason that I decided to leave the company. - As someone in my late 20s, I was older than 75% of the company. That's not necessarily a bad thing - fresh ideas come from fresh minds! - but it did cause high rates of turnover. - Pay should be higher, especially since the company does not pay rent for an office.
