Pros

I could probably have a hundred pros to put down but I will keep it to a few! This is truly a wonderful place to work, full of welcoming, kind, driven and inspirational women (from top to bottom) who only seek to empower the women around them and support their careers. Each are truly invested in your development and I felt so encouraged by the responsibility/faith they placed in me. It is a collaborative environment where everyone helps out everyone and is encouraged to share their opinions in shaping the company - added bonus of this is you get lots of new products to trial and review! Hard work and competency is expected, as with any role, however do not expect to be overworked or burdens laid on you - senior management emphasise this and encourage that when your working day is done, log right on off. I have no shadow of a doubt that I would still be with this company today if I had not decided to take the plunge and change career paths away from beauty. I believe it is a true testament to and evidences the character of the company, how massively encouraging and loving they were regarding this decision. Also, as mentioned in a few reviews - unlimited free hair products and salon services!

Cons

I really have very little negatives to share - I would perhaps suggest it would have been nicer to spend more time collectively in the office as this often makes it easier to quickly get small bits sorted. I would also say, as it is a small company, there will be a limit to how far you can progress/seniority reached but this is simply commonplace for any small business.

Pros

Flexible, friendly and collaborative environment. The fact that there are so many long term employees is a testament to this. It’s like a work family. As a new recruit, you receive a wonderful induction. Your growth within the company is also well supported. There is even potential to move across business disciplines. The head of marketing came from sales and the operations director has sales responsibility for parts of Eastern Europe. The only churn seems to be with non-performers. A great deal of trust and freedom is placed in employees. They can largely work from the office or home and there is no clock watching. There is also a fair bit of socialising in and outside of the office amongst the younger members of the team. All employees also receive free hair services and products. Work anniversaries are also celebrated with personalised gifts, such as earrings, hand bags, and accessories. I always feel like I am learning and appreciated!

Cons

Since covid, the physical office is a bit smaller and less full, as the CEO supports employees working wherever they wish and feel they can be most effective. The office is also temporarily in Paddington, rather than the normal West End location, as the main office building is undergoing work.
