Pros
I worked telecommute for 3+ years and it was a blast. The is no micro-managing and my colleagues were generally very pleasant. The CEO Martin is truly a visionary and brilliant in his methodologies. Christy and Faith in HR bend over backwards to help with anything I needed. Randi, Derek and William in compliance/legal were easy going and fun to be around. There are countless others I should mention that were great, but I'll leave it at that. The pay was definitely fair, always on time and the benefits were generous. I work quickly and tackled my tasks so quickly that I was able to spend most of my day with wife and kids which to me was priceless. Yesterday I was let go because I had finished what was needed of me, left on good terms and management offered a nice severance package to make my transition easier. Overall, I loved it at Pentius and hope to work with them again in some capacity.
Cons
Very few complaints. Honestly. I would say that the only thing that bugged me from time to time was that my talents were not properly utilized. I had times where there was literally nothing to do and when I asked for work, most project managers would ignore my requests. Not a bad problem to have, but I enjoy producing.
