High Knowledge and Customer Service Demands, but Limited Benefits - Sales Representative Penhaligon's Employee Review

Pros

You have experience in selling parfum

Cons

The company is not ideal due to limited benefits, and the commission is minimal. Additionally, there is significant pressure to sell niche perfumes that are quite expensive, which requires a deep knowledge of each product's ingredients and stories to effectively persuade customers. While the job demands extensive preparation, there is little reward, as the hourly rate remains the same as in any other position

Pros

Essentially, the beautiful products along with heritage and legacy of Penhaligon's. I must have a twenty word minimum, but honestly there are no pros.

Cons

Salary---you cannot expect to hire people of exceptional skill and talent with extensive knowledge and experience a menial wage. That is absolutely unacceptable! Value your employees. We are the ones making your business thrive!!! Management is completely disorganized. Very poor structure. No communication. Upper management avoids issues at all costs. Does not evoke "luxury" status. ***Why pay someone with great knowledge and experience of/with fragrance the same wage as one who does not have any experience with perfume, let alone the luxury industry? What sense does that make?
