The new vacation system of accruing vacation is an improvement over the old system, however the starting amount for the 2024 year is downright wrong, i personally went from 120 hours of vacation (with plans already made for it during the summer of 2024) to 40 hours of vacation and 40 hours of "sick time". It wouldn't have hurt them to give us our usual amounts to start the new system.
