Pros
The only pro I can think of is that you get to work remotely.
Cons
There are so many to name but I’ll list the most significant.
- While overtime is not required, you almost have to do it every week since the workload is high.
- There is no pto payout
- The benefits are expensive
- Management makes it a hostile environment.
- The only way to get promoted is to have little to no work life balance since you will get stretched very thin very quickly.
- There is no encouragement for new ideas, so there is no real change.
- They are money hungry (cutting OT even though it’s necessary to stay ahead).
- The metrics are unattainable for most employees so they get to give bare minimum raises.
- Your performance reviews are based on the entire company metrics. This means you will never get a 5 unless you kill yourself for them. The raises are less than 5% and they offer no bonuses.
