Pros

- Decent work–life balance for most roles (sales excluded). - 3-day WFO policy is loosely enforced. - Stable environment for those prioritizing low pressure over growth.

Cons

- Once a credible global fintech, now feels complacent, inward-looking, and lacking ambition. - CXO leadership is largely out of depth; the company trails serious payments players in scale, relevance, and transaction volume. - Mid-management attrition remains high (25%+ YoY) due to stalled careers, minimal promotions, and low annual hikes (5–7% even for top performers). - Progressive rollback of basic employee enablers like cross-functional travel, team offsites, and people budgets. Leadership dominated by long-tenured incumbents in comfortable roles, leading to bloated middle management, unclear ownership, and constant friction. Cross-functional execution is slow due to silos, turf protection, and poorly defined expectations. HR leadership is mostly invisible beyond scripted town halls; HR acts as a passive feedback collector with little action. - Low morale at entry and mid levels; strong performance is rarely rewarded, so many disengage and coast.
