Pros

Company has a great benefit package, but healthcare costs have been increasing. Pay for most positions is fair to above average, and is very good for some positions. Work environments tend to be enjoyable and tend to be somewhat relaxed (depending on supervisor). The majority of management tend to be heavily focused on the end result and as long as you are meeting your targets you will be fine. Company offers a good product and genuinely seems like they value the employees. Overall, was a very good place to work.

Cons

Questionable upper management & senior leadership- company has gone through multiple reorganizations over the last several years and all have included layoffs. Hint- if you lead a company through multiple layoffs in the course of a few years, perhaps you should look at the job senior management is doing. Could be a great place for a career, but have to question the financial performance and handling of the company. Also, the company seems to be a bit top heavy with managers, and should look at increasing the lower levels of the organization.

Cons

If you would’ve asked me 2 years ago, I’d have significantly more pros than cons, but everything has gone downhill since we got a new CEO. People are being fired left and right for “restructuring,” including those who’ve been with the company 10+ years and are known for doing a good job. It seems the execs want to fire all the people actually doing work and replace them with new senior positions (who may or may not do work) or contract out work. There’s no sense of job security for anyone, and morale is at an all-time low. If you still decide to work here, prepare for a poor orientation that does nothing to prepare you for your job, low pay, extremely slow weeks followed by extremely busy weeks, never being promoted (even though they’ll make you think you will be), and an open-office floor plan where everyone sits on Teams meetings all day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely appreciate hearing from current employees, especially those who have been with us for several years. We recognize that the past year has brought a lot of change following new ownership, along with transformation as we work to build a more scalable organization. This includes expanding our leadership team, evolving how we operate to support long-term growth and investing in new skills to support our innovation. We understand that change of this scale can feel uncertain and, at times, uncomfortable. Decisions related to restructuring are never taken lightly, and when they do occur, we strive to support impacted team members with care and respect. Our focus is on preserving the best parts of the culture and values that have defined PatientPoint, while also evolving and redefining them to build a stronger company for the future. We know there is still work to do, and feedback like yours plays an important role in helping us improve. We are optimistic and excited about where we’re headed and committed to creating an environment where our teammates can grow, contribute, and succeed.
