Pros

I thought this place treats Contract Attorneys rather well. The PartnerJD staff attempts to get to know the Contract Attorneys, is never abusive, is flexible, and attempts to build individual relationships and connections. The work environment is generally positive with clear expectations and standards without outrageous micromanging.

Cons

The wages are just a tiny bit lower than some comparable document review places. However in many ways the better treatment is worth it.

Pros

Pro-active and great communication throughout the process of matching with a project. I was matched with a project within a couple weeks after submitting my information. At the time I was there, there was no non-compete or non-solicitation in employment contract with partner companies, so theoretically, if you do a good job on the project, you could end up with a permanent job offer from the company where you are placed.

Cons

As this was a contract position, no benefits were offered. Projects can vary widely. I believe I was paid at the top hourly rate, and that was only $30/hour.

Pros

Pays decent money (hourly), but not decent for a J.D, PartnerJD has what could be framed as "flexibility"; which means that although you can't take off this week for an urgent doctor's appointment, by next month you'll probably have no work and all the time in the world! 3) filtered water

Cons

1) Difficult to get in touch with (if they don't like something you did, they just stop calling you - they never speak to you about it) 2) there's a not-so-secret belief that you (as an employee) are disposable
