Pros

PBN is in a very unique position having established the largest foothold on an industry that receives over 750 million annual visits nationwide, targeting an audience of active, health conscious individuals and families. They are on the cutting edge of mobile technology and user data analytics making available a distinguished digital media platform for top brands and ad agencies. They provide a free mobile solution for underfunded state agencies and have the best intentions in mind to help individuals and families plan thier next outdoor adventure. The office is in the center of New York City, in a great location. It's near all major forms of public transportation and has an open flow, tech feel environment with a kitchen. Thanks PBN for free drinks and snacks! I believe the company is positioned to achieve great things. I'm enjoying the daily chanllenges and can see how my work directly helps the organization. It's very satisfying.

Cons

Things move at a very fast pace, but that is to be expected given the nature of a technology start up company. Your day certainly goes by fast.

Pros

It was a great experience working for this company! I was hired as a researcher, but being that the company was small, which I liked because it was more intimate, I got a chance to learn new things outside of what I went to school for. This company gave me the opportunity to wear a couple of hats and to learn about technology, apps and how they get produced and anything else that encompassed apps. I personally liked the challenge of learning something completely new to me on a daily basis. With a small company like this one, it’s a place where you get to see what you're capable of and grow in. The company’s laid back environment and the staff was great! No drama whatsoever and the work load was light but challenging at the same time. The directors/managers were always nice and personable. Best bosses I've had yet. I also like how quiet it was in the office which was great when I needed to concentrate on research work.

Cons

During my time, breakfast, teas and coffees were not offered which was a real bummer. But what could you expect from a small company? If you're looking for more like, free breakfast and all those fancy perks, this company may not work for those looking for bigger and better. The office setting is in a wide open space -- if you get a lot of phone calls, expect to be getting up to leave the room to take that call.

Pros

Literally none. I can't think of a single redeeming feature.

Cons

Probably one of the worst jobs I ever had.
