Pros
This is a great place for someone right out of college with no experience in the corporate world.
Cons
The company is over structured with expectations that are far to over structured. In theory the expectations work but in practice, it takes to much focus away from focusing on client projects. The company also boasts profit sharing and an esop plan but there has been no profit sharing for years. The esop takes 5 years to vest and since the company is privately held, the pricing of shares is obkective. Moreover, the cost of running an esop probably eats away the profit that ccould be shared wiyh employees. It is more or less a way for management to liquidate their ownership and cash out (they also receive esop). I found this quite sketchy. The culture is also over developed. As I said earlier, you have to drink the punch to succeed. As for advancement, there's plenty of linear growth. However, those who excel cannot skip a level. As for pay, the pay scale is flat for all offices. An associate in Dallas makes the same salary as someone in Chicago or DC which have much hire cost of living. This alone is the ultimate injustice to those working in more costly areas. The senior management does not even acknowledge those differences.
