Pros
- Learned a lot because you have to do so many different things. As a developer, I was able to learn a lot of soft skills on the job as well. That's where the "good place to start out of college" comes from. By the time you leave, your skill set is so much more diverse than the compeition. - I love CA - Free lunch - Not a lot of inaccuracy. You don't get lost in the shuffle. Unlike bigger companies, your manager and his manager will know who you are and be able to gauge your performance. Reviews and thus raises happen much more frequently. It's quite informal actually. - Your thoughts/ideas/suggestions will be heard. - Work life balance was great when I worked here. - Great customer interaction
Cons
- Salary and benefits are not competitive when you're starting out. In time, things may change but realize it is a small company and thus it can never pay you as much as your Amazon, Microsoft, or Google. But to be fair, it might be worth the work-life balance and being able to stay in so-cal. - Consulting services gets preferential treatment - Adam (R.I.P.) was an intense CEO which makes for a very tense workplace.
