Pros
- Great employees - Good benefits - Exciting work environment (Hollywood Lot) - Great extras (access to streaming, movie screenings, on-lot events, etc). - Great work/life balance due to hybrid program.
Cons
- Mass layoffs lately. - Unstable industry (box office, streaming, etc). - The "Powers that be" has made questionable decisions in recent years on direction of company. - Company is drastically changing due to merger. - Company does not value loyal employees. - HR is useless at times. - Company doesn't foster or encourage internal movement despite "promoting" it (I expressed interest in another area and was let go from the company months later, albeit as part of a 15% employee reduction/cost-cutting initiative). - Goal setting program is "B.S." (was literally told this by an upper manager). - Raises and promotions are few and far between. - Low morale and motivation due to all of the above.
