Pros
Coworkers are the main good thing. They are great and most of the time the leadership is absent so there is no oversight whatsoever. You can really do what you want until leadership has a bad day and decides to go for you.
Cons
Leadership is unqualified and bad at managing other adults. Teaching about climate change or even mentioning you have LGBT parents is reprimanded bc Pali is terrified of the conservative press and panders to religious schools. It took a dozen complaints and an ultimatum from female staff to get a serial sex pest fired. It took multiple hostile confrontations and threatened brawls to get an unhinged man fired. They will never try to improve you as an educator, since your job is primarily babysitting. I was observed teaching once in 9 months. They either underhire and overwork you horribly or overhire and give you $300 a week for half pay. They will promote you if you manage to get into the pants of a leadership member and promote based on social factors instead of qualifications.
