Pros
Because of the very meager funding, one wlll also learn how to perform experiments without the proper equipment.
Cons
The lab is a small rented space within a clothing manufacturer's warehouse, and the benches are tables that are strung together with various surge protectors. Almost all the equipment is broken - there are two centrifuges, however one's timer is broken and another's speed rheostat is broken. Both overheat, and the CEO's "solution" was to fill the chamber with dry ice. The tissue culture hood is nonfunctioning, the -80C freezer is on its last leg, there is NO ICE MACHINE on site - THere are no stratacoolers - company uses ground ice to store proteins at 4C, and then changes the ice every few days, or when it melts. And then proceeds to criticize the bench methods of staff for not following "manufacturing protocol". Overall, this company is horribly managed and I'm surprised they managed to stay in business insofar.
