Pros
Nice new office.
The product itself is great.
Cons
Where to begin.
It's like leadership has no idea what they are doing.
Communication is non-existent. I've worked in some great companies with amazing cultures and structure and some early stage companies that were pure chaos...this company takes the cake.
Most chaotic and disorganized environment I've ever been part of. Hard to believe that a company that has been around as long as they have and were under TPG that they have no structure and can't communicate.
To me this all falls on the CEO and her team. Seems they just want to be part of the scene in LA more than they want to create a world class product AND company. Leadership is what is holding this company back from greatness. Their new locations will likely struggle after the initial novelty because they won't be able to address any issues that come up and nuances of customers in these markets.
Definitely a cutthroat environment, but only because there really is no chance to grow and who you get as your ally from leadership will determine who gets those few opportunities.
