Pros
Access to excellent knowledge base and good systems centrally. A few good role models but the majority is average. Opportunities to participate in many projects and events planning. Good learning association.
Cons
Chapters run their own agenda and politics. No clear goals or budget for their own projects or initiatives. Hard to prove value to Chapter members. Lack of innovative initiatives and more of the same made up as new. Volunteerism not widely recognised public and leadership gap to the board, felt like micromanaged sometimes.
