Pros

-The first real estate company / proptech company that puts the real estate agent at the center -PLACE creates so much value for all of the stakeholders they serve - the real estate community, consumers, partners (mortgage professionals, escrow officers, ancillary service providers) -The right leadership who lead with heart, authenticity, and courage -Innovative and strong business model that has no competition

Cons

-There really is not a single con. Of course as a growing tech company there are some tech challenges/glitches that happen but it is worthy to note that the support team has been diligent about all service tickets and I've never seen a tech team push out so many frequent updates that makes the user experience seamless and it improves week by week, month by month. It makes my job as a real estate agent tech powered and empowered.

Pros

PLACE is full of kind, driven, hardworking, and growth-minded people. Ideas are shared freely, collaboration is a daily habit, and I can't think of a single person who isn't always happy to help at a moment's notice. No matter where they fall in the organizational structure, I can feel comfortable reaching out to anyone and know that I'll be met with a kind and friendly response. While all startups offer daily learning opportunities simply by nature of being startups, what makes PLACE unique is the purposeful striving for learning, teaching, and growing, both personally and professionally. I don't just learn new information or processes - I learn new ways of thinking, doing, and being that no other workplace has ever taught me, which is one of my favorite things about this company and what keeps me engaged and excited.

Cons

Tools and processes are often pushed out with little to no notice to employees, so we're left scrambling to learn and operationalize while at the same time our partners are getting excited and wanting us to teach them about it. The interviewing and hiring process takes weeks. I appreciate the in-depth screening that we do, and it seems to have a high success rate of finding the right fit, but the lengthy process can be a turnoff to candidates. Bottlenecks occur regularly - even something like a promotion or pay raise has to be approved at the very top, which can take a very long time. Leaders are busy and seem to be spread very thin.
