Pros

Honestly I can’t list any.

Cons

No real benefits. They provide little to no discounted services for their employees, 15% isn’t even close to a real discount. Adoption fees are basically full price, even if you’re the one fostering them/providing food and supplies. No reimbursement for CE or licensing fees. They only recently added a scrub allowance once a year. You have to have complete open availability Monday through Saturday 7am-6pm. The clinic closes at 6pm but most days you work until 7pm or 8pm possibly even later. They complain about not paying overtime but somehow you get 45+ hours a week by Wednesday/Thursday and instead of giving you a day off they make you to come in and work anyway. The management team spends a good major of the time listening to their employees over the surveillance cameras finding ways to write up/fire their team members as well. They have a good habit of firing employees if they have too many on payroll, they fired 8 employees over this past Christmas alone.

Pros

Loved the client and the patients. The Dr were awesome to work for as well.

Cons

Money hungry, care more about profit than patient care. No regard to quality patient care. Management does not care about concerns brought up about equipment that is used for treatments. ( anesthesia machine). Employees are performing surgical treatment with no formal DVM licensing. No OSHA regulations used anywhere. The owner of this company keep asking for donations all the while employees are being told there is no money to offer pay raises or hire people they would rather be short staffed and keep employees working until 7-8pm instead of hiring additional people to help. My question would be with you making as much money and consistently asking for donations, how is it that business can’t even supply something as simple as paper towels to their staff? This place is going downhill. Consistent employee turnover and burnout. So many shady stuff is happening in the background. Speaks volume when the former HR manager stated that Petsinc would never be put down on their resume as a formal employer.
