Pros

Ozen has a winning environment and a strong Engineering team. In working together with their customers, it's a great way to see what other companies are working on in different fields.

Cons

The environment is very fast paced

Pros

This company seems to really care about the quality of the work that they do. It's a small business that drives itself on passion, solving complex problems, physics, software, as well as collaboration across distributed teams. It's wonderful to see people involved in different conferences whether they are selling there or presenting a paper because our customers have difficult problems that we are trying to help them get unstuck.

Cons

One con I see is that our company is growing, so there's a lot of changes and growth. This means that each new hire is changing the company culture, hopefully for the best!

Pros

- pay for the sales team is great (but only if you are in a territory positioned for growth) - the engineering team and your fellow sales people are helpful and willing to assist (great dynamic internally with sales team and California manager) - it is a very interesting product and once you understand how to sell the software it essentially sells itself - this is a great job if you are looking to boost your resume and sell the most complex and dynamic software on the market

Cons

- management does not understand market conditions and are unwilling to empathize with your if you are not hitting your number. - Market conditions and the accounts you have almost 100% dictate your ability to hit your number. - there is little to no team dynamic (company wide) -very little movement from starting salary (negotiate early and take a lower quota they boost it making it harder to hit) - they let personal feelings dictate how they treat individuals and each person within the company is treated differently - seeing how there are so many other tech sales jobs in the Bay Area I would heavily consider looking elsewhere before interviewing here.
