Pros
The biggest pro of working at Overproof is you're given autonomy to get it done. You're hired because you're an expert in your role, and that trust is given to you intrinsically. You're brought on to solve problems and lead with those solutions, and if it doesn't work then it's on you to try something else till it does work. This job gives you the freedom to lean into your expertise and grow in a way that most corporate 9-5s don't. That being said, it's a startup. We're all committed to making it work and if that's not your vibe, then working at a startup isn't for you.
Our CEO is probably one of the most generous and humble people I've ever met. He will take the time to offer you advice and understand your thinking. He challenges us to do better and approach things from a different angle.
Our team is beyond collaborative and we all have each other's backs. I've supported and been supported across every single team, which has been an incredible learning experience. We all genuinely enjoy working together and have a great culture that includes happy hours on Friday's, signing up for company 5ks, holiday events, etc.
Cons
No cons - just understand what working at a startup entails.
