Pros
You get to make a real difference in patients' lives and often build strong therapeutic relationships.
Cons
My experience with the company was disappointing. I felt there was a strong emphasis on revenue and productivity, sometimes at the expense of both patient and employee well-being.
One policy I found particularly concerning was the $150 late cancellation fee charged to patients. This fee was significantly higher than what I have seen at many other physical therapy clinics. In addition, therapists were often expected to answer for these charges and manage patient dissatisfaction resulting from company policies that were outside their control.
I also felt that employees were expected to continuously give more without adequate support when facing burnout or personal challenges. Rather than fostering a culture of sustainability and professional growth, the environment often felt driven by metrics and financial performance. That is the reason why I quit.
I believe healthcare organizations should prioritize patient care, reasonable business practices, and employee well-being equally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
