Pros
Working from Home was the only Pro
Cons
*Too much Micromanagement, I worked for Origin for 3.5 years and everyday I felt like my supervisor was always over my shoulders.
* You have to be asking for work if you have nothing to do. They literally want you to work your full 40 hours a week. The way they get you to do this is because you have to submit a weekly timesheet detailing the tasks you worked on that week and how much time you spent on those tasks. If your total hours for the week weren't 40 or above, they would ask for an explanation.
*Every week you have to submit a weekly timesheet. The timesheet has to be detailed, you have to explain what you worked on that day and how much time you spent working on that task. Once your timesheet is reviewed by the manager if there is a discrepancy or if they can't validate the tasks you worked on, you will be asked to provide proof. Timesheets have to be submitted before Monday, I would spent about 2 hours every weekend trying to complete my timesheet.
* Too much turnover, new hires would leave in less than a month
* No pay increase, I only received 2k pay increase in 3.5 years. The reason is because the company is struggling to increase revenue.
* You have unlimited PTO, but in reality you only get approved 4 weeks per year and manager has to approve your PTO first. How is this unlimited then?
* We had weekly hands on meetings at 9pm and you had to attend or have a validate reason to not attend. I knew managers that would have client meetings at 10pm.
