I'm unsure when you left Orbit but over the last 12 months we have launched new learning and development programmes for our people leaders: we commenced with a programme for our new and aspiring leaders and will follow this in 2023 with a series of development programmes for our middle and senior people leaders. We want our people leaders to create the best opportunities for all our colleagues to succeed so we can deliver an outstanding service for our customers. We will be investing both time and resources to ensure we meet this very clear objective.
In October we launched our first quarterly all colleague engagement survey. We had a tremendous response with 85% of colleagues completing the survey and offering feedback. When compared to other employers, colleagues at Orbit are more satisfied and we exceeded the benchmark by 8 points, achieving a favourable engagement score of 81%. And looking at the quality of leadership, Orbit was 6 points higher than the benchmark of other employers. This is great news but we acknowledge we can be better.
We are working hard to create a place where our colleagues can grow and develop within a business that our customers love. It's always a journey but remaining focused on these clear objectives will ensure we keep true to our promise.
