Brand recognition in India is very less, most people think it is a BPO as it does not have telecom operations here. Your desgination remains stagnant for years and chances of promotion are less. In Indian job market, designation matters more than salary, its not France where people can work at same designation for 15 years. Senior people tend to work like govt office, do not take ownership. Office timings should be made more flexible, emphasis should be on getting the job done and not on quantum of time spent in office. Work is not distributed equally among employees, the hard working ones are over loaded and those who do not take responsibility are not given much work leading to burnout of real talent.
