Becoming a full-time benefitted employee was a very long journey. I could not wait that long.

Great company, invests in its staff, wants to support and promote from within.

Cons

It's a nonprofit, so has similar issues (beauraceatic red tape, etc) that can be frustrating, but no different than any other NP

Not merits-based, Leadership is incompetent. No room for advancement unless you are friends with managers.
