There aren't any pros I can list for this company. I can confidently say this.

No work-life balance, No livable wages. Benefits are a joke. Accounting randomly decided they aren't responsible for collecting payments billing or credits? Every single person in accounting that I have contact with (there are quite a few I work with hand in hand... or should I say for?) has been rude. They have been clearly cruel to so many people and upper management has been ccd on accountings emails to the victims of the nasty-grams. They refuse to tell anyone who is responsible for what despite employees needing corporate assistance in order to complete tasks. Accounting runs the show make no mistake. And they run the show poorly because they have people outside of accounting doing clearly accounting work. No matter how much you speak up about being taken advantage of and used by the company nobody will help you. HR doesn't even come into office let alone show an ounce of desire to help their suffering employees. I can't afford to survive let alone pay any extra for healthcare so I can be treated for the normal ailments people of a certain age have concern over. I can't afford therapy for the diagnosed clinical PTSD inflicted on me due to the stress of this company. Nobody in upper management actually knows how to do any of the baser jobs or daily processes and they are clearly unwilling to learn despite their employees repeatedly asking for help. Nobody is willing to take accountability for their mistakes and will pin it on anyone and everyone else and they'll get away with it as long as they brown-nose their way into upper management's good graces. If you speak up you will lose your raise and bonus. If you work hard you will lose your raise and bonus. Other people will get away with EVERYTHING and you will get the brunt of the work and blame. There is no appreciation. I'm honestly surprised OPTA Group hasn't been hit with any lawsuits at this point. This company will take advantage of you, They will make sure you struggle to get your footing here, They will make sure you live in a state of poverty. They will over work you. They will use you. They will manipulate and lie to you. They will punish you for speaking up. They will take away rewards undeservingly. They will spend millions on upper management travel and party expenses and re-renovating already newly built buildings YEARLY but keep their lower on the totem pole employees in a very real and very serious place of poverty. In a span of 3 years which is only a small portion of my time here only $2.25 raise in total was given despite stellar conversations and reviews with direct management AND upper management on my performance. We are suffering. We are asking for help LOUDLY. They won't change a thing. For the love of all the Gods whichever you choose to believe in, Please. Do. Not. Work. Here. for your health wealth and sanity. P.S. If you do not have a degree you will have no opportunities here. Upper management has made sure of that. In fact they frequently hire and re-hire (I say rehire becuase they can't keep anyone even remotely intelligent experienced or merely even decent to conversate with working here) young degree holding people without experience. Putting those people in upper management roles and then those people hand all their work to whoever is under them on the totem pole because they literally CAN'T do the work handed to them, Even if we clearly express we are ALL already spread too thin and that we need help with what we have not to be given more. The company has proven repeatedly that it does not care about its employees whatsoever. They will hire more and more upper management with no experience but let the mills struggle with workload. They will pay upper management way too much money to sit there and be middle-men. They pay upper management to sit there in their fancy yearly renovated offices and send them all on fancy expensive trips all on the company dime all while their base employees struggle to stay alive and housed and warm in the winter and fed. Most of these full time employees have never been on a vacation because they don't make enough to but all these upper managers get to go on all these fabulous trips... THEY EVEN POST PICTURES ON THE COMPANY WEBSITE TO RUB IT IN EVERYONES' FACES! We are suffering and stressed and burnt out and spread too thin. They are eating caviar off of golden spoons made and handed to them BY US! I am extremely disappointed. I am disgusted. I am struggling to stay afloat. And despite working full time here in an important position to a whole CORED WIRE PLANT I am unable to survive on just this wage. If you think this company would be a good opportunity for you I promise you it isn't. Unless you're a degree holding no experience having useless greedy underwhelming person of course. This is a completely honest unexaggerated review of my time here at Opta Group. Change needs to happen here before it can be deemed a morally acceptable place to be employed once again. It wasn't always like this. We used to love it here. We used to have fun and laugh and enjoy our jobs. We used to be happy to come in every morning to help each other and every other department in the company. This used to be a wonderful place to work full of amazing and helpful and knowledgeable coworkers. Hard work was acknowledge and rewarded. New ideas and speaking up on visible issues was rewarded at one point. Now we are silenced daily with threat of financial repercussions. One last thing. If you're a woman the IT people won't listen to a word you say. It doesn't matter if you have all the software experience in the world. You could be the owner of the highest IT firm and if you were to share your opinion on what should be done to fix something if you are a woman they won't listen to you.
