Pros
My colleagues are mostly good.
Cons
No flexibility. You are eligible for 49 hours of unverified sick time per year, anything over that you are disciplined, losing the very minimal privileges you earn. Separately, if your sick time is “verified”, but “unexpected” you are also disciplined (so good luck to parents). Pay is stagnant, in the past three years there has been a total of a 1% raise. Benefits are well diminished. Union dues for an absent union. Toxic work environment. Petty, vindictive management who has very significant issues with race relations. People of color are rarely, if ever promoted. Women are the majority of the workforce, however constantly passed over for men (largely in part to the sick policies). Incredibly low morale which management addresses in the most laughable ways (they have a fun committee 🤮). It’s a god awful place, which is seeing unprecedented resignations. Save yourself the misery and stay away.
