Pros
Perfect hours for someone going to school in the morning and early afternoon. Pretty decent pay. Steady raises. Good insurance (if you're lucky enough to work there long enough to get to full time). 401k plan. Easy work as long as you pay attention. Plenty of time to talk to other employees and most of them are great people. In over 6 years of employment i only worked two weekends and it was optional.
Cons
Upper management doesn't spend any time in the warehouse at all but makes all the decisions. You will never know exactly what time you will be getting out. Overtime is essentially impossible. Us vs them mentality between shipping and receiving crew. You can get fired for even looking at your phone to check the time while working so you have to get used to not making plans until after work. Staff is constantly changing.
