Pros
In the past five years, OnRamp has made major strides in its development as company. It has more than doubled it workforce and tripled it's data center footprint. Despite this growth, it remains true to its down-home feel. The entire executive team is extremely approachable and willing to help teams and individuals succeed in whatever way they can. Customers and employees can benefits from the collective experience of the top talent the OnRamp recruits. For customers, OnRamp offers a dedicated staff - which they know by name - to help manage IT needs both big and small. For employees, this provides a highly collaborative environment, were you can truly learn from your peers in the advancement of your career.
Cons
Despite being an established data center and hosting provider of over 20 years, the company operates more like a startup. As a whole, OnRamp runs a lean shop, but for those eager to quickly advance their career, this presents many opportunities. Each position within the company is expected to wear many hats. However, the ability to propose projects/ideas and run them from conception through execution is welcomed. All employees are encouraged to strive for innovation in their roles and this allows for greater opportunity to expand an individual role, learn new skills, and experience a wide range of functions within the organization working alongside representatives from all departments.
