Pros
The direct, hands-on managers I dealt with seemed competent and reasonable. Maybe, that is. They could be hiding behind the bot's bad behavior. Can't tell.
Cons
You take the training, start working, and Shazam -- you no longer have any work. In early June 2024, after I started earning a little money, Then, suddenly, without warning, they benched me. I was not fired; there was just no more work, with a vague statement about more work on or after July 8. When I then inquired on Slack on July 9, the bot (which seems to be in charge -- you're being mistreated by a ROBOT!) kicked me off the two Slack channels. Maybe the manager did it and let the bot take the blame, maybe not. No way to know. I went through onboarding and training for two different jobs, and the same thing happened with both. The feedback while doing tasks is dog poop. On one set of prompts, I got feedback saying "do this," then another saying "do this, too," and then a third contradicting the first two -- on a mindlessly simple task. I have the distinct impression that this "company" is a pack of college kids who have no clue but did a great pitch and got a slew of money to play AI with.
