Pros
Hours are very flexible, potential to work from home. You get to see the inner working of the federal government and hone your project management skills. The people are a blast. I literally laugh everyday. Direct managers are approachable and usually open to your concerns.
Cons
The communication leaves a lot to be desired. The lower level employees usually don't hear about process or employment changes changes until really late in the process. We really wish that this place had an identity. No one really knows what is expected of us from upper mgmt. We really don't have a central voice or and main theme of what kind of workplace this should be.
