Pros

Potential for interactions with government entities Decent food places within driving distance Semi-flexible work hours Pay checks always come on time

Cons

Chaos Implementation of projects are not fully thought out and problems arise later on. Management is more reactive than proactive. Experienced employees are not given the positions they deserve even if they’ve been executing the tasks exceptionally for years. Rules/agreements are ignored, and departments do the bare minimum to keep their contracts. Employees treated like slaves and seem sad/frustrated (especially after the recent layoff of 25 people) No compensation for going over & above or taking on additional roles, even when they were in dire need of backup support. Managers lie through their teeth (not just to employees, but to the government too) and conduct shady business. Managers are rude, disrespectful, never own up to their mistakes and keep employees in the dark about everything. Raises are laughable. Bonuses only given to employees who help secure new contracts ...only a handful of employees even have this opportunity.

Pros

Starting with the staff, very professional, friendly, helpful, informative and I keep going on and on. I worked with OST for approximately 3 1/2 years with no worries. Great place to work.

Cons

When my contract ended there were no other positions that I could have been placed in, this is because OST is a great place to work. turnover is very low.
