Pros
- Remote forward company with people who sincerely try to help one another. - Decent home office stipend monthly. - A large company that still fosters a bit of a start-up attitude. - Exciting work most days.
Cons
- Little or no upward mobility. - A culture of resentment, triangulation, and retaliation is pervasive. Management will smile and lie to your face at the same time. Don't trust any director who is "the sweetest person you'll ever meet". - Training is not available, so be prepared to learn on your own. - Expensive health insurance. - Low pay relative to competitors. - AI may replace you (but they are upfront about this). - Lip service is given to diversity initiatives, but aside from Slack channels where folks can commiserate, there are no actual benefits (tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, etc.) tied to those initiatives.
