      Competitive pay, good benefits. Flexible scheduling. Vacation time is always granted when submitted in time. Employees are generally kind and respectful.

      Cons

      Frequent threat of downsizing as of late. Vacation time and sick time are combined (accrued every other week). Rigid absentee and tardy policy.

      Pros

      Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.

      Cons

      IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
