Pros
The mission is great, but it should never be used as a way to retain people. People, like the cause, need to be invested in. The team is great and it's inspiring to work with such a passionate group of people.
Cons
People, especially their junior staff or interns are incredibly under-appreciated. Do not do the 6 month fellowship thinking you will gain skills and possibly a job. You will be allocated to admin and have a volunteer role on your CV when you leave. Even if you are a volunteer, you will be judged if you do not stay late, and will be "let-go" if you aren't seen as fully committed (ie. have to pick up a part-time job to pay bills because you are not getting paid).
