Pros

Northside is investing in it's future and growing every day. The hospital is always finding new ways to reinvent itself and they are committed to making necessary changes that secure their position for may years to come.

Cons

It is a big/old machine and new processes can be slow moving at times, but this is expected with any large organization.

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
